Becoming Her: The Berkley Lane Coat Journal
Some mornings just feel different.
Not because anything special happens — but because you actually slow down enough to notice yourself.
That’s how it felt the first time I wore the Berkley Lane Coat. I was getting ready for a shoot, running through the usual motions; hair, makeup, coffee half-finished — when I slipped it on and just... paused. It fit perfectly, not just in size, but in energy. It felt calm, easy, me.
Modeling has always been a mix of chaos and creativity. You learn to keep up, smile on cue, hit the angles. But there are moments in between all that — little breaks where you stop pretending and actually feel comfortable in your own skin. That coat became one of those moments.
The Berkley Lane Coat doesn’t try too hard. The belt gives you a nice shape without squeezing, and the material feels soft but steady. You can throw it on and instantly look put-together — even when you’re just running errands or heading out for coffee. It’s effortless in the best way.
That day, I didn’t feel like “the model.” I just felt like myself — relaxed, content, a little more grown into who I am. Maybe that’s what confidence really is. Not trying to prove anything, just feeling okay with where you’re at.
Every time I wear it now, it’s a small reminder to slow down and let things be easy.
Not perfect. Not planned. Just easy.
